ACS
I presented at the 239th National Meeting of the American Chemical Society in San Francisco, CA in the organic division in March, 2010. It was a complete success. I proposed to applause - and no questions, with excellent data and a 152 slide presentation (ACS recommends 10 slides), that the American Chemical Society adopt my structures for atoms and molecules and adopt the pyramidal shape of my periodic table. I gave the complete 118 element periodic table of Gooch structures compilation artwork B. I informed them that I had placed my name on the 118th element, Goochium, by convention as the first person to discern the electronic structure ( Goochium [Rn] 5s2 5f24 7p6 ) of the atom early in 2006. I also informed them that this was several months in advance of its creation in the laboratory by the Russian group in October of 2006 - "I already had my name on it when I heard about the Russians creating it in the lab in October 2006."

Key and Keyhole Theory
Red elements are "key" elements. Blue elements are "keyhole" elements. Green elements are "key and keyhole" elements. Purple elements are inert "key" elements. The idea is to fit keys into keyholes to make molecules.
The analogy in the standard model to "key and keyhole" elements is the Carbon example that it either "gives up or takes on its outer shell electrons." Gravitational unit theory unified field theory negates the use of shells by using a completely different model of the atom and the molecule. Atoms fit together like puzzle pieces, key into keyhole, instead of overlapping orbitals. Several examples may be found in the links to the left which are very interesting examples of molecules such as benzene, CO3(2-) ion, and nitromethane. My youtube videos of the drawing of these molecules and ions may be found at youtube.com/gunittheory along with the rest of my videos.
The data I presented at the meeting was very conclusive. For every major carbon structure such as alkanes, alkenes, and alkynes and for every major functional group such as ketones, esters, alcohols, ethers, nitriles, etc. etc. etc., both Lewis structures and Gooch structures give one and only one structure. However, in the cases of benzene, nitromethane and the CO3(2-) ion, where Lewis structures needed two or more hybrid structures to represent the molecule, Gooch structures still only needed one. Lastly, in the case of molecules such as the cyclic boranes such as B10 H16 and simpler cases such as B2 H6, Lewis structures can show structure but no theory in the standard Model can explain Hydrogen bonding to two atoms. Gooch structures still gives exactly one structure.
Again, again, and again, Gooch structures outperform and continue to outdate Lewis structures for representing atoms and molecules.
I formally make a public request of the American Chemical Society to adopt my structures and the pyramidal shape of my table. The structures are better for describing atoms and molecules with good data to back that up. Changing the shape of the table around elements such as carbon is only logical and puts the actinide and lanthanide series back on the table. The pyramidal shape is far more symmetrical than the current shape of the table and predicts relative reactivity of elements. I put forth a final logical argument that the table was meant to be set up this way because if you exclude inert elements there is always an element in every period which has an equal number of elements on either side of it, carbon being the prime example with three elements on either side of it.
118th Element - Inert element
117th Element - "Keyhole" element
